Fredrik is a professional film producer and photographer based in Karlstad with long experience of producing films, music videos as well as commerical projects within fashion and music. In parallell, he develops his artistic photography and has been assigned as new Ricoh GR ambassador in Sweden.
Fredrik has a passion for bringing out the cinematic and dark in his images, working with the light in different ways, is weak at driving full aperture and rarely wants to over-edit his images.
“It is fantastic fun to be appointed ambassador for Ricoh GR in Sweden. I love to travel and see the world, both near and far. Developing my artistic side with film and photography is what gives me the most spice in life. The small, but powerful Ricoh GR, will be a fantastic new opportunity for me to do just that. The camera will be in my pocket everywhere so I do not miss to take the perfect picture“, says Fredrik.

- How did you start with photo/video?
I started filming as a kid when I was 12 years old. I’m self taught and have been working professionally since 2012. Since 2015, I’m working full time as photographer and film producer.
- How would you describe your style?
Cinematic, dark, vulgar and sometimes just beautiful and colorful. - What inspires you?
Great cinematic masterpiece movies, exciting places, and music.
- What is your dream shoot or project?
To shoot a music video without budget limitations and a film with a great story, I would use anamorphic lenses. - What is your best advice to others that want to develop as photographers?
Always bring your camera. Never overestimate yourself, there is always something new to learn even in the boring parts of being a photographer.

Samyang 24mm,35mm & 85mm f1.4, Konica 40mm f1.8, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8, Tomioka Chinon 55mm 1.4. And of course, the cameras Panasonic S5 & S1H and Ricoh GR III.
- What bag do you use?
A cheap no name bag.
