Q&A

  1. How did you start with photo/video?
My interest in photo started in a darkroom when I was 14 years old. Witnessing a white sheet of photo paper turn into a photograph after being put in the developing bath was mind-blowing!
  2. How would you describe your style?
I always try to experiment within different photographic genres, but also create images in classical styles within portrait, landscape and architecture.
  3. What inspires you?
All kinds of nature, but most of all coastal landscapes. I am also very inspired by traveling both in Norway and to other countries.
  4. What is your dream shoot or project?
A documentary about Vardø in Norway.
  5. What is your best advice to others that want to develop as photographers?
Practice a lot and try to find the balance between self-confidence and self-insight.

What is in your bag?

  1. What is the most important in your bag?
I have many bags with many different camera kits and light kits. If I had to select just one bag with a minimum of equipment, I would carry a Mamiya 6MF with 50 and 75mm lenses, Ilford SFX 200 film, some filters and a Sekonic L-358 light meter.
  2. What bag do you use?
ThinkTank Retrospective 20 v 2.0. for hand light equipment. B+W Outdoor Case 6800 for 8x10 large format cameras.
